For the thermal printer settings for Mac OS, see the following steps.
- Install the Ship&co Print Tool for Mac (download )
- Setup Raw Printer for OSX
Open “Terminal”:
⌘(command)+ spacebar → Input「Terminal」 → Enter
Enter the following code in Terminal to enable the CUPS web interface.
sudo cupsctl WebInterface=yes
Press the Enter key, and input the Mac OS password.
Open the following link in Safari (or the browser of your choice): http://localhost:631
Click on the “Administration” tab.
Click on “Add Printer”.
Select your Printer and click on "continue".
You can name your printer if you want.
Then, unselect "share this printer"
Click on "continue".
Click on "select Another Make/Manufacturer.
Choose "RAW"
Click on "continue".
Click on "Add Printer".
Do not change the value and click on "Set Default Options".
Click on the "Administration" tab.
Click on "Add Class".
1. Add a short and simpe name to your printer (like "DHL" or "UPS"). You'll add the same name in Ship&co settings.
2. Select the Printer in the list.
3. Clik on "Add Class".
Next page: the title should be the name to be used in Ship&co Settings for the Printer Name.
You can close the page and complete the setup in Ship&co Settings Page. Add the printer name according to the one you need.
Do not forget to check your printer settings / Label Format in your carriers page on Ship&co.
