Shipping labels you can make for DHL, FedEx, UPS, Yamato Transport and Sagawa Express are compatible with inkjet/laser printers, as well as thermal printers.
If you would like to create PDF type thermal labels, you can do so by simply connecting your PC to a thermal printer, therefore you do not need any further settings.
However, if you would like to create ZPL type thermal labels (only compatible with DHL, FedEx, and UPS), you need to make the following settings in advance. ZPL setup can be technically challenging and recommended only if you want to use multiple Zebra printers with different carriers account.
1. Please check here and complete the settings required to use your thermal printer.
2. Name your thermal printer in the "Thermal printers" section on the "Settings" page.
3. On the "Carriers" page, click "Edit" of your carrier registration, and select "ZPL" and paper size in the "Print settings" section. Make sure that the printer you named earlier is displayed there, and save the settings.
