Yu-Pack and Yu-Packet are postal services offered by Japan Post, the national postal service of Japan. These two services are widely used to ship ecommerce parcels. In this article, we will guide you how to ship your orders with Japan Post Domestic shipping service: Yu-Pack and Yu-Packet.
How to ship with Yu-Pack
To create shipping label and ship with Yu-pack (ゆうパック), follow these steps:
- Go to Orders Page.
- Select your order.
- In Parcels section, select Yu-pack and set up the following topics:
- Parcel size: select parcel size from Box 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, and 170 size.
Note: The weight is not required. - Delivery hour: set up the delivery hour from the available list.
Note: If you would like to set it as the fastest option possible, you do not need to specify a desired delivery date or time.
- Anytime
- Before noon
- 12:00pm-2:00pm
- 2:00pm - 4:00pm
- 4:00pm - 6:00pm
- 6:00pm - 8:00pm
- 7:00pm - 9:00pm
- 8:00pm - 9:00pm
- Delivery date: set up the delivery date for your shipment.
- Qty.: select the number of parcels if you want to ship multi-parcels (maximum quantity is 5.)
- Parcel size: select parcel size from Box 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, and 170 size.
- In Option section, set up the following topics:
- Date of Shipping: This field is by default, set as the current date.
- Service type: select from Regular, Parcel Frozen, or Parcel Chilled.
- Cash on delivery: Tick this option if you ship with Cash on delivery option (COD/代金引換).
- In Cash on Delivery section, set up the Cash on Delivery amount
- Amount to pay: Input the total amount to collect from the recipient.
- VAT: Input the VAT included in total amount.
- In Ordered items section, add the Cash on delivery handling fee (Daibiki fee) on Ship&co by clicking on + Add.
Note: Make sure to input the correct amount in the Cash on Delivery field. This amount will be paid by your customers upon delivery. In case of Yu-pack, the handling fee costs 265 yen. - Click Printer (🖨️) button located in the bottom right-hand corner.
Now, the shipping label for Yu-pack service has been successfully issued. Please print it on JP Post's A4 size exclusive paper (ユ00783), and paste it on the parcel. Shipping labels can be printed with ordinary inkjet and laser printers.
How to ship with Yu-Packet
To create shipping label and ship with Yu-packet (ゆうパケット), follow these steps:
- Go to Orders Page.
- Select your order.
- In Parcels section, select Yu-packet and set up the following topics:
- Parcel size: select parcel size from Box 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, and 170 size.
Note: The weight is not required. - Print Order: set up the print order to create shipping label. (You can select from 1-10.)
Note: ⚠️ The print order is a number that determines the printing start position of the exclusive Paper mentioned above. Yu-Packet corresponds to a commercial tack seal label (2x5) or Yu-Packet exclusive paper (ユ00582). You can print 10 shipments from the upper left to the lower right.
Example: If you select number 4 in the Print Order, it will be printed in the location of number 4 as per the image below.
- Delivery date: set up the delivery date for your shipment.
- Qty.: This field is by default, set as 1. Multi-parcels option is not supported by Yu-packet.
- Parcel size: select parcel size from Box 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, and 170 size.
- In Option section, set up the following topics:
- Date of Shipping: This field is by default, set as the current date.
- Service type: select from Regular, Schedule a delivery date, Same day delivery, or Yokuhai Wide.
- Click Printer (🖨️) button located in the bottom right-hand corner.
Now, the shipping label for Yu-packet service has been successfully issued. Please print it on JP Post's Yu-Packet exclusive paper (ユ00582), and paste it on the parcel.

After the shipping label is issued, please print it on a commercial tack seal label (2 x 5 type) or Yu-Packet exclusive paper (ユ00582), and paste it on the parcel. You can use an inkjet or laser printer for this.
