Printing shipping label using ZPL format is recommended when you use multiple thermal printers: one thermal printer per one shipping carrier. If you wish to use the DHL Thermal Printers on a Zebra printer for ZPL file, please follow this set up below.
Note: You can also print PDF file on a Thermal printer (Zebra, Rollo, Sato, etc.). Ship&co supports PDF file in 4x6 and 4x8 for DHL shipment. You can select PDF for thermal printer inside your DHL settings on Ship&co.
Setting Thermal Printer for DHL shipment
To set up the thermal printer to print DHL shipping label from ZPL file, follow these steps:
- Install the printer settings on your computer following the steps suggested here.
- Go to Settings page.
- In Thermal printers section, click Edit and add the name under the Printer name field.
- Click Submit.
- Go to Carriers page.
- In Your carriers section, click Edit on your DHL account.
- In Print settings section, select the label type as ZPL (Thermal).
The printer name you previously set will appear below this setting. - Click Save.
Now, your Zebra thermal printer for DHL has now been successfully set up.
