How to print FedEx Express shipping labels with a Thermal Printer (ZPL file)

Printing shipping label using ZPL format is recommended when you use multiple thermal printers: one thermal printer per one shipping carrier. To print FedEx shipping labels in ZPL file format using the Thermal Printers provided by FedEx, please follow the setup instructions below.

Setting Thermal Printer for FedEx shipment

To set up the thermal printer to print FedEx shipping label from ZPL file, follow these steps:

1. Install the printer settings on your computer following the steps suggested here. 
2. Go to Settings page.
3. In Thermal printers section, click Edit and add the name under the Printer name field.
4. Click Submit.
5. Go to Carriers page.
6. In Your carriers section, click Edit on your FedEx account.
7. In Print settings section, select the label type as ZPL (Thermal).
   The printer name you previously set will appear below this setting.
   
8. Click Save.

Now, your Zebra thermal printer for FedEx has now been successfully set up.
