If you have more than one location accepting online orders in your Shopify Store, they will be displayed in each order page on Ship&co.
Ship&co will use only locations accepting online orders to fulfill items in your Shopify Store.
If there are multiple items in an order and some of them are not stocked in the Shopify location selected in Ship&co's "Freight Details" screen, the order will be automatically partially fulfilled and a shipping label will be created only for these items stocked in the selected location.
(e.g.) Suppose an order has one item X and one item Y, and your inventory status is as follows
[Item X].
Location A (default) : Stock quantity: 0
Location B : Stock quantity: 3
[Item Y]
Location A (default) : Stock quantity: 2
Location B : No set up for this item.
In this case, the fulfillment for both items will be performed using Location A. Item X inventory will be -1 in this location.
However, if you select Location B in the Ship&co order page, the item X only will be fulfilled.
The order status will be partially fulfilled and you'll need to create another shipment for item Y.
Ship&co will use locations available for online orders and with the most inventory quantities to fulfill items.
For example, with an order containing three different SKUs:
- Item X has quantity in three locations -> A, B, C
- Item Y has quantity in two locations → A and C (and no set up for location B)
- Item Z has quantity in two locations → C and D (and no set up for location A)
All 3 Items will be fulfilled from location C.
If all items are available in all 3 locations, locations with the most quantities will be used to fulfill them.
We'll continue to adapt our support for multiple locations with Shopify store, following future Shopify API updates.
