Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the number of countries which the international mailing services are temporarily suspended for was significantly expanded with effect from April 2nd, 2020.
For the details and updates, please see JP Post’s website here.
In response to this, Ship&co recommends DHL Express, FedEx and UPS as alternative solutions to EMS, the main service of international mail.
If you do not currently have a DHL Express, FedEx, or UPS account, please contact your preferred carrier with the following information:
・ Company information (company name, billing address, telephone number, e-mail address)
・ Approximate number of shipments per month
・ List of major destination countries
After you have registered with the carrier of your choice and obtained an account number, you may then add it to your Ship&co dashboard and proceed with shipping orders as normal.

TIPS on Shipping with DHL, FedEx and UPS:
- You need to add size and weight for each order before getting rates and printing a shipping label.
- DHL, FedEx and UPS verify shipping addresses strictly. Error in Zip code or Province code (usually 2 letters for the US) will show an error and need to be corrected.
- Paperless! The carriers are paperless ready in Ship&co. For most countries, you don’t need to print the invoice for customs, but just the shipping labels. For this to work, don’t forget to add your signature image in Ship&co settings.
