In regards to international shipping with FedEx, DHL or UPS, the estimated shipping fee displayed in Ship&co when making shipping labels may differ from the actual invoiced fee by the carrier.
The possible reasons are listed below:
- The size/weight of the parcel you entered is different from the actual data (measurements performed by the shipping company themselves).
- When the consignee requests the shipping company to change the delivery destination address after the parcel has already shipped.
- When a surcharge such as a remote delivery fee, or non-regulated parcel handling charge occurs - generally, due to our API integration, the fee information displayed is correct. However, since carriers update information for remote areas frequently, there may be a time difference in the information updated and displayed through API. As a result, there is a possibility that you will be charged for a surcharge which was not displayed when the shipping label was created.
