Important Note for Existing Users
Starting June 1st, the UPS XML integration will be discontinued. The "UPS (outdated)" logo will be removed from the carriers page, and any UPS accounts still using this integration will be deleted from Ship&co. Users will need to re-add their UPS account using the new integration process.
With the new UPS integration, you will no longer need an API access key.

If you have a UPS account and would like to start shipping with Ship&co, you can easily connect your UPS account using the new UPS OAuth 2.0 process. This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your UPS account to Ship&co.
Connect Your UPS Account on Ship&co
Just follow these steps and you'll be ready to start shipping with UPS in no time:
1. Navigate to the Carriers Page:
- On the Carriers page, click on the UPS icon.
2. Input the Necessary Information:
- Name to Display for This Account: Assign a name to your UPS account within Ship&co for better management. Ship&co supports shipping using multiple UPS accounts. If you have multiple UPS accounts for different regions or subsidiaries, you can set up a name for each account. If you leave this field blank, your account number will be displayed as the default name.
- Account Number: Add your UPS 6-digit account number (or shipper number).
3. Authenticate with UPS:
- After entering your account number, click "Save."
- You will be redirected to the UPS login page. Use your usual UPS account login ID and password to log in.
- Accept the request to connect your UPS account with the Ship&co app.
- You will be redirected back to the Ship&co page.
Print Settings:
If you are using a laser or inkjet printer, please select PDF and Standard A4. If you are using a thermal printer, you can choose either PDF or ZPL with 4x6 inches. However, if you choose ZPL, you will need to install an additional tool (not supported on the latest version of Windows OS), and you will not be able to view a print preview. Therefore, we recommend using PDF even with a thermal printer.
Additional UPS Features on Ship&co
- DDP and DDU Shipments: Support for Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) shipments.
- UPS Insurance: Option to add UPS insurance for your shipments.
- Domestic and International Shipments: Support for both domestic and international shipments, depending on the services available in your location.
- Direct Signature Option: Option to require a direct signature for deliveries.
- Multi-Piece Shipment: create a UPS shipment with multiple packages for one consignee on Ship&co.
- Cancellation of Shipping Labels: If you cancel a UPS shipping label in the Ship&co screen, the corresponding data will also be invalidated in the UPS system automatically.
For Ship&co API Users
The new OAuth 2.0 process for adding a UPS account to Ship&co doesn't make it possible to add a UPS account via our API. If you use our API to get rates and create shipments, you'll need to add a UPS account through the Ship&co Carriers page.
