Synchronization Timing:
After registering your Etsy store, order information is automatically synchronized every 5-10 minutes.
Etsy Order Status for Synchronization:
By default, Ship&co synchronizes Etsy orders that are "Open" and "Paid". Unpaid orders are not synchronized.
Shipped Status Update:
When the "Synchronization Settings" on the Ship&co Etsy store settings page is turned ON, at the moment the shipping label is created, the Etsy order status will automatically change to "Completed", the tracking number will be reflected, and a shipping confirmation email will be automatically sent to the buyer from Etsy.
When "Synchronization Settings" is turned OFF, you can still manually change the status to "Shipped" for each order individually on the completed shipments page. When you do this, the same actions will occur as when the setting is ON - the Etsy status will update, tracking number will be reflected, and shipping confirmation email will be sent.

Important Note: Etsy API Limitations Regarding Buyer Contact Information
As of February 5, 2024, Etsy has stopped sharing buyer email addresses and phone numbers with third-party applications, including Ship&co, citing privacy protection measures. This decision impacts all shipping and fulfillment integrations connected to Etsy.
While we understand Etsy's commitment to protecting buyer privacy, this limitation affects the shipping label creation process, as many carriers require buyer contact information for delivery purposes. We regret this restriction and have advocated for solutions that would allow authorized shipping applications to access necessary contact information while maintaining buyer privacy standards.
Workaround: If buyer contact information is required for your shipping labels, you will need to manually enter the email address and/or phone number from your Etsy order details into Ship&co when creating shipping labels.
Important Note: Regarding Etsy Discounts
While discount information from Etsy can be synchronized to Ship&co, due to current system integration specifications, Etsy sends discount data as a discount applied to the entire order amount rather than automatically reflected in individual product prices. Therefore, for orders with discounts, the discount information and total order amount after discount will be displayed just below the order number at the top of the order screen in Ship&co. However, since discounts are not synchronized in a format tied to individual products, the "Parcel Contents" section at the bottom of the screen will display pre-discount information.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Due to these current specifications, please be aware when processing Etsy orders with discounts, and manually edit the product prices in the "Parcel Contents" section on the Ship&co screen as needed.
