Connecting Your Yamato International Account to Ship with Ship&co

You can now easily connect your Yamato International account to Ship&co to streamline your international shipping. This guide explains how to retrieve your credentials and complete your setup.

📌 Note: Yamato International operates using a separate system from Yamato B2 (for domestic shipments). You'll need a User API Key, and a Billing Code Suffix (usually 01) to enable the connection.

Step 1: Acquire API Credentials from Yamato World Portal

To retrieve the necessary keys for integration, please follow the steps below using your Yamato Business Members (YBM) account:

1. Login to your Yamato Business Members dashboard.
2. Launch the World Portal (ワールドポータル) from the services list.
3. On the top page, scroll to the System Settings (システム設定を変更する) section.
4. Click Link with External Systems (外部システムとの連携).
5. Here you can retrieve:
   • User API Key – issued for your specific YBM user code.

⚠ Attention: These keys must be issued from an administrator account (not a personal sub-user) in YBM.

Step 2: Retrieve Your Freight Management Code (運賃管理番号)

The Freight Management Code (運賃管理番号) is a required 2-digit code used to identify the freight tariff contract. This is different from the Billing Code Suffix, which is used only when splitting invoices (and is optional).

The Freight Management Code can usually be found in the “One-by-one label issuance” (1件ずつ発行) screen within your Yamato B2 Cloud or World Portal dashboard. If unsure, please confirm with your Yamato sales representative.

Step 3: Add Your Yamato International Account in Ship&co

1. Log into your Ship&co dashboard.
2. Click Yamato International in the list of carriers.
3. Enter the following information:
   • User API Key
   • Freight Management Code (e.g. 01)
4. Click Save to complete the setup.

You're now ready to start shipping international parcels with Yamato from Ship&co!
