This guide explains how to create a shipping label for Yamato International TA-Q-BIN in Ship&co and provides important details to note.
About Rate Display
Yamato Transport does not provide rate information via API, so rates for Yamato International TA-Q-BIN will appear as “N/A” on Ship&co’s rate comparison screen. This is expected behavior.
How to Create a Yamato International TA-Q-BIN Shipping Label
Method 1: Use the Quick Create Button
- Enter the parcel size and weight (required) in each order screen.
- Click the printer icon (Quick Create button) at the bottom right.
- On the carrier and service selection screen, choose Yamato International TA-Q-BIN.
Method 2: Create from the Rate Confirmation Screen
- Enter the parcel size and weight (required) in each order screen, and click the magnifying glass icon (Rate Check button) at the bottom right.
- Find Yamato International TA-Q-BIN from the list of available services.
- Click the print button next to the service to create the shipping label.
Printing Shipping Label and Invoice
- On the Shipments page, click the "Label" button and print the shipping label
- Click the down arrow next to the "Label" button, then click on the "Carrier Invoice" button to print the Invoice generated by Yamato Transport.
・Important: You must print and sign 3 copies of the Invoice. - Place all 3 signed copies together with the shipping label in a transparent pouch (available free of charge from Yamato) and attach it to the parcel.
Electronic Customs Declaration (ETD)
Yamato International TA-Q-BIN currently does not support Electronic Trade Documents (ETD). Therefore, the automatic signature insertion feature is not available. Please sign the printed invoice copies manually.
Tracking
Tracking for Yamato International TA-Q-BIN shipments can be checked on the UPS website. Clicking on the tracking number in Ship&co’s Issued Shipments List will redirect you to the UPS tracking website for the particular shipment. Tracking updates are not reflected on Ship&co.
Countries where personal shipments are not accepted
For the following countries, shipments of goods (excluding documents) cannot be accepted if either the shipper or the recipient is an individual.

Cases Where the Recipient’s Tax ID Is Required
For Yamato shipments to any of the countries listed below, when the recipient is a business, the recipient’s Tax ID is mandatory. In such cases, click "See all options” on the order screen in Ship&co, and enter the recipient’s Tax ID in the field labeled “Consignee VAT or Tax ID."
- Indonesia (NPWP)
- Vietnam (Company Tax ID)
- Mexico (RFC)
Determining Personal vs. Business Shipments
When issuing shipping labels for Yamato International TA-Q-BIN, Ship&co checks whether the shipment is to a business or an individual based on the following logic:
- If the Company Name field is left blank in the recipient address: the shipment is treated as personal.
- If the Company Name field is filled in: the shipment is treated as business.
Other Limitations and Notes
- Multi-parcel Shipments: Not supported. Yamato International TA-Q-BIN only supports one parcel per shipment. Each parcel requires its own label and invoice.
- Compensation: Basic damage compensation up to JPY 200,000 is included in the shipping fee. No paid or additional insurance option is available.
- DDP Shipments: DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is supported. When DDP is selected, the invoice may display “FOB JAPAN” (same as for DDU), but this is normal and DDP is correctly applied.
