Adding Tax ID (VAT ID, EORI, etc.) for International Orders in Ship&co

You can add Tax IDs (such as VAT ID, EORI, etc.) for the consignee or importer in international orders directly within Ship&co. This feature is currently supported for JapanPost International, Pegasus, UPS, Fedex and DHL.

How to Add a Tax ID to an Order before creating an international shipments:

1. Open the Order page in your Ship&co account.

2. Click on “See all options” to expand the additional fields.

3. Scroll down to the “Extra options” section and locate the field labeled “Consignee VAT or Tax ID”.

4. Enter the consignee’s Tax ID in the provided field. The use of spaces or symbols is not recommended. Please enter alphanumeric characters only. (Final acceptance is subject to the destination country’s customs authorities.)

Once entered, the Tax ID will automatically be included on the carrier’s invoice when you generate a shipping label.
