When the "State/Province" field of the shipping address is required

Mainly for the following destination countries, the "State/Province" of the shipping address is required.

• United States of America
• Canada
• Australia
• People's Republic of China
• Brazil
• Mexico
• Malaysia
• New Zealand
• South Korea

Also, if a state code exists, the carrier systems usually require the code, not the actual state/province name. You might see an error stating such as "The state name is too long" after entering the state name as it is. In such case, the label creation is blocked and you will need to check and input the corresponding state/province code. 

For the US, please refer to the two-letter code according to the "ANSI standard INCITS 38:2009".

For other countries please refer to the 2-digit code based on "ISO 3166-2".
