⚠️ Ship&co vs Shipping Operations
Ship&co’s dashboard (web app) and API solutions provide a shipping label printing system and help you automate your shipping process, while the actual shipping operations, such as packing, label issuing, printing, affixing, pick-up, etc, are handled by you as a customer.
Please double-check the information on the label (destination address, declared amount, etc) before using it for your shipments. Ship&co takes no responsibility for any issues with matters such as customs, and delivery after shipment.
⚠️ Shipping fees
The estimated shipping rates you see on Ship&co are the real-time responses from each carrier’s system, based on the information of the shipment (size/weight) entered by you as well as the carrier's account number that you registered in advance on the "Carriers" page. (For JP Post international services, the estimated shipping rates you see in Ship&co are the published ones.)
The actual shipping fee that is charged by the carriers will be determined by the carriers after pick-up, and therefore there may be a difference between the estimated rates by the carriers (and displayed on Ship&co) and the actual fee that is billed.
You are responsible for all shipping costs, freight insurance, handling charges, surcharges and other costs to be paid to the shipping company that you use. Ship&co will not be involved in this.
⚠️ Shipping fee settings on the store side
Ship&co is not an app that supports shipping settings on the EC store side. Order data will be synced to Ship&co only after your customers have made a purchase at your store. Based on this data, we provide a service that allows you to easily create shipping labels for the shipping company you use on the same app screen.
Quite often we receive inquiries with the misunderstanding that "the Ship&co app is connected to the shipping fee settings of EC stores, and Ship&co can send the shipping fee data to the store side so that it can be shown to the customers" - this is not a part of our service. The shipping fee settings on the store side (the shipping fee shown to your customers) are to be set on the store side based on your sales strategy, and Ship&co does not support this part.
Ship&co will automatically sync the checkout data only after your customers have made a purchase. If the shipping fee is included in the checkout data, it will also be displayed on the app screen as the shipping fee, but this data is for your "sales". The estimated shipping fee you will see on the app when creating shipping labels for overseas is the fee as your "cost".
