If you selected "Register with Google" when creating your Ship&co account, that account can only be accessed by logging in with your Google account. Unfortunately, it is not possible to switch this to logging in with an email address and a dedicated Ship&co password afterward.
This limitation most often comes up when a business outsources part of its shipping operations and wants that outsourced staff to log in with an email address and password instead of a shared Google account. If this applies to you, here's how to proceed.
Solution: Create a new Ship&co account
If you need email-and-password login, we recommend creating a new Ship&co account. When setting it up, please note the following:
- On the sign-up screen, choose to register with an email address rather than "Register with Google."
- Use an email address different from the one linked to your existing Google account.
- Store integrations and carrier account settings are not carried over automatically from your existing account, so you'll need to set these up again on the new account, referring to your existing configuration.
About your existing Google-linked account
If you no longer need it, please remove its store integrations and carrier account settings (if you have any), then contact our support team. Once confirmed, we will schedule to delete the account from our database.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
