Q. Which shipping companies' labels does Ship&co support?
A. As of August 2023, shipping labels can be issued for: DHL, FedEx, UPS, JP Post International Mail (EMS, ePacket, small package, etc), Pegasus Global Express, Ninja van, JP Post (Yu-Pack, Yu-Packet), Sagawa Express, and Yamato Transport.
* The worldwide spread of the COVID-19 still has some impact on international transportation services. Please always check the latest service status of the shipping company you use.
Q. Is the shipping fee cheaper if I create shipping labels with Ship&co?
A. The shipping fees are subject to the contract between the customer and the shipping company. Ship&co has a feature of displaying estimated shipping rates for international shipping, however, those rates are the real-time responses from the shipping carriers' system and the actual shipping fees you will be charged by the carriers are determined after you ship, based on your agreement with each carrier.
There are no discounted shipping rates for using Ship&co.
Q. Do I need a contract with the shipping company?
A. Yes. Before you use Ship&co, you must make a contract with each shipping company.
* As for JP Post international services, if you bring parcels by yourself to a post office and pay by cash each time, a contract is unnecessary.
Q. If I have multiple codes (accounts) with the same carrier, can I register all of them with Ship&co?
A. As of August 2023, you can register multiple codes/accounts for the same carrier only with DHL, UPS, and FedEx. For other shipping carriers, you can only register one account for each shipping carrier.
Q. How do I print out shipping labels?
A. You can print shipping labels using an inkjet printer, laser printer, or thermal printer for some carriers' labels.
Q. Where can I get pouches to stick on parcels?
A. Please contact the shipping company you use directly.
Q. Can I create a postponement delivery slip (後納郵便物等差出票) for Japan Post automatically?
A. Yes, after you register your Customer's Card (Yubin Biz Card) number on the Carriers setting page for JP Post international, it is possible to automatically create a postponement delivery slip.
* However, in order to use this service, you must input the parcel weight always when creating a shipping label. For details please check here.
