Ship&co syncs your Shopify orders in real-time to ensure all shipping details are accurate.
If you notice that a few Shopify orders are missing, you can force a sync of these orders by updating the data for each order on the Shopify admin page. This could involve actions such as adding Order Tags or Order Notes in Shopify admin. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to add Order Notes to trigger an order sync.
To manually force a synchronization of the missing orders, follow these simple steps:
-
Go to Orders list page in your Shopify admin
- Click on Orders you want to manually force a sync
- Click Edit on Notes section
- Adding some text to trigger the sync
You can add either a random text or a single symbol such as a hyphen or dot
If it the problem concerns several orders, you can add an order tag to multiple orders in a few clicks:
- In the orders list of your Shopify store, select the orders you wish to sync.
- Click on the three dots next to "Capture Payment", then select "Add Tag".
- After adding the tag to the selected orders, they should appear in Ship&co.
If, after trying to add tags or order notes, orders still do not sync, you may need to reset the app connection:
- Uninstall the Ship&co app from your Shopify store admin within the apps menu.
- Reinstall the Ship&co app to re-establish the connection.
Note: The newly imported orders are restricted to those with Paid and Unfulfilled status, and they must have been created within the last 60 days. If you have selected the 'Fetch authorized and pending/partially paid orders' option, which includes orders with Pending, Payment Authorized, and Partially Paid orders, those order will also be synced to Ship&co.
