If you're a Shopify merchant, whether you're selling within your country or internationally, Ship&co offers a dynamic multi-carrier shipping application designed to expedite the shipping process directly from our intuitive dashboard.
Compatible across all Shopify plans — from Basic to Shopify Plus — Ship&co also facilitates shipping for Shopify development stores, allowing you to streamline your workflow before going live.
Connect Shopify to Ship&co
You have two options: either download the Ship&co app directly from the Shopify App Store or add your Shopify stores through Ship&co’s Shops Page. This guide will detail the process of connecting your Shopify store via the Ship&co dashboard.
- On the Shops page, click on the Shopify icon.
- Configure your account for optimal order management::
Name to display for this account: Please label your Shopify store for identification within your Ship&co account. Naming each store allows for streamlined management, enabling you to filter orders by specific Shopify store names. This feature is ideal for merchants managing multiple Shopify storefronts, providing a clear, organized view of orders from each store.
Warehouse settings: If you operate multiple warehouse locations, select a default warehouse from which to ship your Shopify orders in Ship&co. Please note, the warehouse address you select here is the one that will be displayed on the shipping label. This is independent of the "Shopify location" setting used for item storage within your store.
Sync settings:
Automatically fulfill the order on Shopify
:Enabling this setting will update the order status in Shopify admin as "Fulfilled" and synchronize the tracking number back to Shopify store at the time of shipping label creation in Ship&co. You also have an option of fulfilling the order from Ship&co at any time after shipping label creation. Please refer to this page for more information about the settings.
In addition, when necessary, it is also possible to ship items separately in Ship&co. When you are shipping items separately, your Shopify order will be marked as Partially Fulfilled on the order page in Shopify.
Fetch authorized and pending/partially paid orders (orders with incomplete payments):
If these orders get synchronized in Ship&co, you will see a corresponding small icon for each order.
Send a notification email to customer after fulfillment:
When you issue a shipping label in Ship&co or click "Fulfill" on the Shipments page, Shopify automatically sends a notification email to the customer's registered email address to inform them that their shipment has been processed. This email is sent directly from Shopify’s notification system. If the shipment created in Ship&co includes a tracking number, it will automatically be added to this Shopify email. Please note that the design and content of this email are managed through Shopify's notification settings, not by Ship&co.
- After completing the aforementioned sections, click the “Save” button. You'll be redirected to the Shopify App Store Ship&co page to install the App to your store.
Once the app is installed, all unfulfilled orders from the last 60 days will populate the Ship&co orders list automatically. Should you need to import older orders, you can initiate a manual sync with your Shopify store by adding a tag or note to those orders.
Additional Notes for Shopify Merchants:
- Ship&co supports the addition of multiple Shopify stores to a single Ship&co account. This feature is ideal for merchants managing several Shopify storefronts, allowing for centralized shipment management.
- For those using Shopify development stores, a forced sync might be necessary to synchronize your orders with Ship&co. Orders generated post-Ship&co app installation should synchronize automatically.
- Please note that Ship&co cannot be used with the Shopify Starter Plan.
