If you are planning to ship your ecommerce orders using Sagawa Express in Japan, first of all, you have to create a corporate contract with Sagawa and obtain Sagawa Express's client number. How to ship with Sagawa Express
To create shipping label and ship with Sagawa Express (佐川急便), follow these steps:
- Go to Orders Page.
- Select your order.
- In Parcels section, select Sagawa Express and set up the following topics:
- Parcel size: select parcel size from Box 60, 80, 100, 140, and 160.
Note: The weight is not required. - Delivery hour: set up the delivery hour from the available list.
- Anytime
- Before noon
- 12:00pm-2:00pm
- 2:00pm - 4:00pm
- 4:00pm - 6:00pm
- 6:00pm - 8:00pm
- 7:00pm - 9:00pm
- 8:00pm - 9:00pm
- Delivery date: set up the delivery date for your shipment.
Note: If you would like to set it as the fastest option possible, you do not need to specify a desired delivery date or time. - Qty.: select the number of parcels if you want to ship multi-parcels.
- Parcel size: select parcel size from Box 60, 80, 100, 140, and 160.
- In Option section, set up the following topics:
- Date of Shipping: This field is by default, set as the current date.
- Service type: select from Regular, By Plane, Parcel Chilled, or Parcel Frozen.
- Necessary request: select from Fragile, This Side Up, and Valuable Goods.
- Cash on delivery: Tick this option if you ship with Cash on delivery option (COD/代金引換).
- In Cash on Delivery section, set up the Cash on Delivery amount
- Amount to pay: Input the total amount to collect from the recipient.
- VAT: Input the VAT included in total amount.
- In Ordered items section, add the Cash on delivery handling fee (Daibiki fee) on Ship&co by clicking on + Add.
Note: Make sure to input the correct amount in the Cash on Delivery field. This amount will be paid by your customers upon delivery. In case of Sagawa Express, the handling fee starts from 330 yen. - Click Printer (🖨️) button located in the bottom right-hand corner.
After following the above steps, you will be able to create shipping labels for Sagawa Express.
Once the shipping label has been created, it should be printed on Sagawa Express A5 size exclusive paper and print out using a laser or inkjet printer. Or, if you are using a thermal printer, please make sure to use Sagawa Express exclusive adhesive paper. After printing, the label should be affixed to the parcel that you intend to ship out.
