Which Yamato Transport Shipping Services are supported by Ship&co?

Ship&co allows you to connect your e-commerce platforms and easily create shipping labels to ship domestically with Yamato Transport (Kuroneko Yamato). In this guide, we'll give you an overview of the Yamato Transport shipping services supported by Ship&co.

Please Note: The Yamato B2 Cloud API does not support label creation for international shipping service, International TA-Q-BIN (国際宅急便), which means that Ship&co is also unable to support label creation for international shipping for Yamato Transport.

Supported Yamato Transport Shipping Services

Ship&co supports the creation of Yamato Transport labels for domestic shipments. With Ship&co, you can ship your orders using the following Yamato services:

1. TA-Q-BIN (宅急便)

Ship&co supports multiple shipping options for Yamato Transport's TA-Q-BIN including shipping with normal temperature (常温) and shipping with Cool TA-Q-BIN (クール宅急便) which helps maintain your parcels chilled at 0-10℃ (クール冷蔵) or frozen at -15℃ or lower (クール冷凍) conditions during delivery. Cool TA-Q-BIN does not handle packages exceeding size 120.

• TA-Q-BIN Regular Delivery Fee Paid (宅急便 発払い) - (Ship&co API: yamato_regular )
• TA-Q-BIN Regular (Multiple Units), Delivery Fee Paid (宅急便 発払い (複数口)) - (Ship&co API: yamato_dispatch_multiple_units )
• TA-Q-BIN Freight on Delivery (宅急便 着払い) - (Ship&co API: yamato_freight_on_delivery )
• TA-Q-BIN Cash on Delivery (宅急便コレクト) - (Ship&co API: yamato_collect )
• TA-Q-BIN Time Service (宅急便タイムサービス) - (Ship&co API: yamato_time )
  Please Note: TA-Q-BIN Time Service cannot be shipped with Cool TA-Q-BIN option or Cash on Delivery option.

2. TA-Q-BIN Compact (宅急便コンパクト) 

Package size: must be smaller than size 60

• TA-Q-BIN Compact Cash on Delivery (宅急便コンパクトコレクト) - (Ship&co API: yamato_taqbin_collect )

3. Nekopos (ネコポス) - (Ship&co API:yamato_nekopos)

This service delivers small parcels with next-day delivery at the same level as TA-Q-BIN, directly to the recipient's mailbox.

・Supported size: A4 size (Maximum: within 31.2cm in length × 22.8cm in width, Minimum: at least 23.0cm in length × 11.5cm in width)
・Thickness: within 2.5cm
・Weight: within 1kg

4. Kuroneko Yu-Packet (クロネコゆうパケット) - (Ship&co API: yamato_kuroneko_yuupacket)

・Flat nationwide shipping rates based on thickness: 1cm, 2cm, and 3cm
・Total of 3 sides within 60cm (long side within 34cm, thickness within 3cm), weight within 1Kg
・Delivered to the recipient's mailbox via Japan Post's delivery network.

5. Kuroneko Yu-Mail (クロネコゆうメール) - (Ship&co API: yamato_direct_mail )

・A delivery service that places catalogs, brochures, flyers, CDs, and similar items directly into the recipient’s mailbox. No signature is required upon delivery.
・Yamato Transport collects the parcels and Japan Post delivers them (Tracking is not available.)
・Available in two thickness categories: 1cm and 2cm.
・Supported Size:
　Length: Up to 34cm (minimum 14cm), Width: Up to 25cm (minimum 9cm)
　Thickness: Within 2cm
　Weight: Up to 1kg
・Items that cannot be sent via Kuroneko Yu-Mail:
　Official documents requiring a seal (e.g., letters, invoices)
　Non-printed items (e.g., handwritten documents)

Shipping supplies required to create Yamato shipping labels

It is mandatory to use the dedicated paper provided by Yamato Transport to print shipping labels (waybill). You can request these shipping supplies from Yamato Transport by filling out the Shipping Labels, Shipping Handling Stickers, Shipping Suppliers Order (送り状・荷扱いシール・資材のご注文) form in the Yamato Business Member dashboard or order these suppliers directly from a Yamato Transport's driver.
