We are updating this post regularly depending on what we learn from users feedback as well as integration updates with shipping carriers and e-commerce platforms.
1. eBay and IOSS number
If you sell on eBay and have some shipments for the European Union, you have no setup to do on your side. Ship&co will get eBay's IOSS number from eBay's system and use it whenever it is required. Please check out here, too. Also, see below for details about the shipping carrier(s) you are using in Ship&co.
Please note:
For IOSS to the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland), which is not an EU member state, the automatic synchronisation from eBay for the UK IOSS number is available only when shipping via Japan Post international or FedEx services. If you are shipping to the UK with other carriers and requiring IOSS compliance, we kindly request that you manually input the IOSS number in the Ship&co order screen.
2. Amazon Marketplaces and IOSS number
For orders where IOSS applies, the IOSS number is automatically transmitted from Amazon to Ship&co. There is no need to manually enter the IOSS number in the Ship&co app.
3. Etsy and IOSS number
Sellers on Etsy need to add the IOSS number provided by Etsy in their Etsy store settings on Ship&co:
4. For sellers on other platforms
Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, orders imported by CSV and created manually: if you have an IOSS number, you can add it into Ship&co's Invoice Settings.
The number will be used for supported shipping carriers (see below).
You can use only one IOSS number per Ship&co account. Please also use this option when you create orders manually in Ship&co or use the CSV import feature, for orders placed through EC sites where the IOSS system is applicable.

Japan Post updated their system to support IOSS number, in February 2022. Due to this update, IOSS number set up in Ship&co will be used electronically for JapanPost Shipments to Europe.
IOSS number is not shown on any of the JapanPost Shipping label in order to prevent misuse by third parties.
