After creating a FedEx shipping label in Ship&co, you can upload additional customs documents (such as a "Watch Worksheet" or "Pro Forma Invoice") directly from Ship&co.
Eligibility Requirements
This feature is available for shipping labels that meet all of the following conditions:
- The selected carrier is FedEx
- The shipping label has not been voided/cancelled
- The upload is performed on the same day the shipping label was created (uploading to past shipping labels is not supported)
- The shipping label must have been created after this feature release (evening of May 26, 2026 JST) — data created before the release is not supported.
How to Upload a Document
- Go to the "Shipments" screen in Ship&co and locate the target shipping label
- Click the "Upload" button from the actions menu
- In the modal that appears, select the appropriate document type from the "Select document type" dropdown
- Click "Choose a file..." to select the file you wish to upload, then click "Upload" in the bottom-right corner of the modal to submit
Shipment History CSV Export
A new "UploadedDocuments" column has been added to the shipped history CSV, which can be exported from the "Shipments" screen.
- The file name(s) of any uploaded documents are recorded in this column
- If multiple documents have been uploaded for a single shipping label, the file names are separated by a pipe character | (e.g.,
invoice.pdf | certificate.pdf) - Shipping labels with no uploaded documents will have an empty value in this column
Notes
- Only PDF files are accepted (maximum 2 MB per file)
- Please issue shipping labels on the same day as the pickup date whenever possible. While the document upload operation in Ship&co is only available on the day the label is issued, if the actual pickup is delayed to the following week or month for example, it may affect FedEx's processing of the documents and the pickup itself.
- Please avoid uploading "Safety Data Sheets" (SDS), as the original documents are required for export customs procedures.
- Uploaded documents cannot be deleted. Please review the file carefully before submitting. If you need to remove an uploaded document after submission, you will need to either cancel the shipping label in Ship&co or contact FedEx directly
- If the ship date is in the past, the Upload button will not appear
- The document upload operation is currently only available from the Ship&co app screen. For those of you who normally use the Ship&co API, please also perform document uploads from the app screen.
