Direct Signature and Adult Signature for DHL Shipment in Ship&co

Ship&co supports two types of DHL Delivery Signature options, in addition to the free default signature service provided by DHL Express (only when shipping from some countries). To ensure that your DHL shipments are delivered safely and securely, you can easily add DHL Delivery Signature Options to your shipment.

Set up DHL Delivery Signature Options in Ship&co

To set up DHL Delivery Signature Options on Ship&co, follow these steps:

1. Go to Carriers page.
2. Click Edit on your DHL account registered.
3. In Delivery Signature Option section, select your preferred DHL Delivery Signature Option.
4. Click Save.

The Delivery Signature Option selected with above steps will be applied when creating shipping label with DHL Delivery Signature Options.

Ship with DHL Delivery Signature Options in Ship&co

To ship with DHL Delivery Signature Options on Ship&co, follow these steps:

1. Go to Orders Page.
2. Select your order.
3. In Option section, click Signature required.
4. Click on Magnifying glass ( 🔍 ) in the right-button side.
5. Select your preferable shipping option from DHL.
6. Your label is created with DHL Delivery Signature Options applied.

When "Signature required" option is unticked:

DHL's standard delivery practices will apply. For most international shipments, DHL requires a signature by default as part of their basic service (at no additional charge). However, this varies by origin country.

When "Signature required" option is ticked:

The signature type selected in your DHL settings on Ship&co's Carriers page will be applied. Any applicable fees will be shown in the shipping rate comparison. Note that specific signature options may not be available for all destinations.

DHL Delivery Signature Options:

Ship&co supports the following DHL Delivery Signature Options - see DHL service guide in your country for more details and fees.

1. Direct Signature Required (DSR)

Someone at the recipient's address must sign for the delivery. If no one is available, DHL may reattempt delivery.

2. Adult Signature Required (ASR)

An adult (age of majority in the destination country) must sign for the delivery and present valid photo identification. If no eligible recipient is available, DHL may reattempt delivery.
