How to require a Direct Signature for DHL Shipment in Ship&co

When you created a shipping label with "Signature required" option unticked in Option section, DHL will deliver your package following the contactless delivery practices. The shipment will be delivered with "No Signature Required" option. This means that DHL is authorized to complete delivery, or leave the shipment in a designated place, without a delivery signature.

What is DHL Direct Signature Required Option?

"Direct Signature Required" Service is an optional service offered by DHL Express. It is recommended for shippers who ship high-value shipments or those who want to require a signature to guarantee delivery with DHL Express. Upon receipt, the consignee or a representative of the recipient is required to provide a direct signature.

DSR delivery is made only to the address specified in the shipping label. DSR shipments cannot be re-routed, dropped in a post box or left with the neighbor. The consignee is authorized to arrange an alternative delivery time at the same delivery address or to collect the shipment from a DHL owned service point.

Note: This service requires shipper an additional charge. In case of shipping from the United States, the cost additional of 6.35 USD per shipment will be applied. Also, the DSR options may not be applicable based on the destination country and parcel specifications.
