Ship&co allows users to create a return label for outbound shipment or create only an individual import label inside Ship&co dashboard when shipping with DHL Express or FedEx Express.
Creating a Shipping Label for Import Shipment
You can create the import label or return label for orders you have already created outbound label or you have already shipped.
Note: In case you are shipping with DHL Express, you need to register your DHL import account on Ship&co's Carriers page individually using your DHL import account information. Follow our instructions to add a DHL account to Ship&co here. Please enter your DHL import account in the Account Number field and skip the setting for Print return labels option.
As for the Site ID and Password, you can use the same ones that you have used for registering your DHL export account in Ship&co.
To create a shipping label for import shipment, follow these steps:
- Go to the Warehouse Page.
- On the Warehouse list, click Create a new warehouse and input the address and contact details you will use for sender address (e.g. your customer's information who requested to return an item), and click Save.
- Go to the Orders Page.
- Click the Create order at the top and enter your address, contact details and product information, all in English. This address will be set as a receiver's address. Please make sure to set the same address registered for your carrier account.
Also, the unit price should be the value of the product (a unit price of 0 will result in an error when issuing a label) - On the Orders Page, select the particular order to see the details. In the Sender section, choose the overseas address that you added in the Step2 above.
- If the shipment is for a return, select "Return in the Shipment type field. (Please avoid ticking "Return label" in the Options)
- If you would like to include a custom management number or other identifier in the shipping data, please click "See all options" and enter it in the Reference Number field.
- Make sure that the correct HS code/description and Country of Origin are selected in the Ordered items filed.
- Click on the Magnifying glass ( 🔍 ) at the bottom right.
- Select a desired shipping service for your import shipment. (At this time, the DHL estimated shipping cost will be hidden as N/A). If you receive an "Invalid Recipient City" error, please return to the previous screen, correctly enter the city name of your address in English in the "City" field, save it, and then try issuing the shipping label again.
Now, your import label and commercial invoice are created. You may want to send the PDF files to your customer in case they wish to send an item back to you. Your overseas customer will probably need to request a pickup to the carrier.
If you no longer need the overseas shipping information registered in Step2 above, please delete it from the "Warehouse" screen.
