Ship&co supports DHL Digital Invoices, also known as Paperless Trade (PLT). PLT eliminates the need to print the customs invoice, thus reducing shipping preparation time, minimizing the amount of paper used, and speeding up customs clearance procedures.
What you need:
In order to use DHL’s PLT service with Ship&co, you must first register an image of your signature as a shipper in Ship&co’s "Commercial Invoice Preferences" section under Settings in advance.
This signature is used for electronic invoices created by in DHL’s system.
Please use a JPEG, JPG or PNG file, smaller than 1MB.
PLT shipments can be used to most destinations, yet there are some countries that are not supported. Furthermore, even if the destination country is supported by PLT, preferential trade may require you to file an invoice when the total cost of the shipment is over a certain amount. Please contact your DHL agent for more details about PLT availability from your country.
When PLT is not supported, you'll notice a message in a yellow banner during the shipping label creation process.
In that case, please print the invoice, and affix it together with the shipping label to the package.

- When PLT is available, only the label above (1 page) is necessary to be printed out and attached to the parcel.
- In the case of multiple parcel labels, one label per parcel will be created. Please print out all labels, and attach each label to each parcel.
- The best way to know if PLT is available for your shipment is to see if the "PLT" sign is printed on it like on the label above.
